Meal Time 3.1.11: Saved Pets and a Clearer Care History

Published October 23, 2026 · Meal Time For Pets

Pet routines change, but useful care information should not disappear with them. Recent Meal Time updates add Saved Pets for profiles and care history outside the daily schedule, bring veterinary contact details into Care Instructions, and make meal and weight records more dependable to review.

Keep a profile when a pet leaves the daily schedule

Saved Pets gives you a place to keep a pet’s profile and care history outside the active daily schedule. You can find saved pets in Account when you need to look back at their information. This is useful when a pet’s routine changes and you want to keep the record without leaving that pet among today’s active care tasks.

Care Instructions can also include veterinary contact details, alongside the notes that help another person understand a pet’s routine. Before sharing instructions with a sitter or family member, review the information and make sure it is current.

A more dependable view of meals and weight

In version 3.1.11, meal updates stay in sync between Today and Summary. That makes it easier to move from the day’s checklist to the broader record and see the same meal status in both places.

Weight entries now save more reliably, and older weigh-ins remain visible on the chart. The app also makes it clearer which pet you are logging a weight for. Together, these improvements make a pet’s record easier to follow over time; they do not interpret a change or replace veterinary advice.

Use the updates for a clearer handoff

Keep routine details in the pet profile, check that veterinary contact information is up to date, and record meals and weigh-ins as they happen. If your household shares care, give the information time to sync before another caregiver relies on an update.

For a veterinary visit or sitter handoff, review the Care Instructions and the relevant history before sharing. A well-kept record can help you explain what you observed, while your veterinarian remains the right person to interpret health changes.
